JOB DESCRIPTION


As a Helpdesk Technician you are the first point of contact for all IT service desk incidents and requests for our customer. In this position, you will field customer calls, troubleshoot, document and resolve IT-related issues based on solutions found in the knowledge base. In this unique environment our customers may be English, Spanish or Portuguese speakers.

We are looking for individuals with the ability to read and write fluently in either Spanish or Portuguese or both. While you may take calls from English speaking customers your primary focus will be to assist customers whose primary language is either Spanish or Portuguese.

We are seeking individuals throughout the U.S. who possess a very unique language skill set. Stefanini has a global presence and our employees support and interact with clients around the globe. The technicians for this particular project will be based here at our North American headquarters in Southfield, MI**. The support hours will be 7am -11pm EST Monday – Sunday.

**Relocation assistance is available for those candidates that qualify.



JOB REQUIREMENTS
Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional end-user support while communicating with clients in English, Spanish and/or Portugese via telephone, email or web submits
  • Provide restorative or maintenance actions to resolve end-user problems
  • Responds to end-user problems based on standard procedures
  • Track incidents and calls, including but not limited to, entering data into the database timely and accurately
  • May be responsible for ensuring systems are configured properly

Skills, Licenses, Knowledge, Education and Training Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior Tier I help desk experience
  • Requires excellent customer service skills
  • Solid foundation of Personal Computer experience
  • Troubleshooting capability
  • Overall knowledge of desktop productivity products
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven ability to remain flexible in a changing environment
  • Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
  • May require additional project-specific training

  • Speak and write Turkish, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish at the intermediate level;
  • Good comfort level with online applications& technology;
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Must become certified by completing Open English’s Live Instruction Certification Process.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
  • Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, walking and light lifting
  • Long periods of standing and speaking
  • Airports ramp operations are noisy and can be hazardous without due caution
  • Extensive travel, must be able to spend consecutive nights away from home and endure all climates
  • Alternative work schedules, including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Ability to push or pull moveable carts weighing in excess of 250 pounds
  • Ability to lift objects up to 35 pounds such as galley stowage bins and carry-on baggage

Qualifications

  • Must be able to fluently speak Portuguese
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Competent in handling difficult situations, problem solving and complaint resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly reception of all customers
  • Must present a professional image, may not have visible tattoos, facial, multiple or upper ear piercing, or 
  • extreme hair color or style while in Flight Attendant Uniform
  • Work in climates and locations across the globe and work variable shifts
  • Able to attend up to 8 1/2 weeks of training in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, and move immediately to the city to which you are assigned as a base
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; college education or two years customer service experience preferred. 
  • Prior Airline experience is not required.
  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Must be in possession of a valid US or Foreign Passport with applicable VISAs
  • Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all countries that are served by American Airlines
  • Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment
  • Must have the right to work in the United States

  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles.

  • Strong computer skills, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience selling to Brazil.
  • MUST already live in Miami or close to Miami (Salesforce does not pay for relocation)
